Julianne Parkinson was appointed the Executive Director of the Office of the Economic Development Board in October 2014.
The Economic Development Board was established in 2002 and is an independent advisory body to the Government on economic development issues in South Australia.
Julianne has over 25 years’ experience with global financial and legal consulting firms including Ernst & Young, KPMG and Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills). She specialises in strategic planning, business development and change management. She has worked extensively with clients operating in Government, Corporate and Private sectors. Julianne has undertaken engagements across Australia and the South East Asia region. She has also held senior consulting roles inside global and national marketing and public relations organisations.
She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Course (AICD), Board Director of Brand South Australia and a Board Member of the UniSA Post-Graduate Advisory Board.
Julianne has lived and worked extensively across Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of South Australia.
