Tom has been driving innovation for over 20 years. Currently it is commercialising new packaging technologies and designs with his team at the Detmold Group, working with brands like McDonalds in the USA, Starbucks in China, Jollibee in the Philippines and Qantas in Australia. In the past that has included creating a successful startup wine business in Singapore, establishing Greenfield manufacturing plants, launching into new sales markets in Europe, opening R&D and rapid prototyping facilities in China and Australia, managing businesses in Asia and management consulting.

Tom is able to combine innovation with his strategic marketing focus and rapid adoption of emerging digital technologies in his relentless quest to optimise the Customer Experience, advance brands and support sales growth. A key personal driver for Tom is Sustainability in business, he is proud to have helped customers to reduce the environmental footprint of hundreds of products, leading to savings of thousands of tonnes of raw material each year and diverting millions of used items from landfill to be recycled for other uses.
